We are all capable of doing hard things! This is a mantra I wholeheartedly believe and a philosophy I continually try to prove to myself. To truly demonstrate this, and to encourage others to do the same, I’m taking on the David Goggins 4-4-48 challenge. Run 4 miles (6.5km), every 4 hours, for 48 hours. That’s 12 runs for a total of 48 miles or 77km.
I'm asking you to sponsor this challenge. Why? Because I believe my own health and fitness journey is proof that anyone can do hard things. I started off 7 years ago 30kgs heavier than I am now and unable to run more than 3km non-stop. Now I regularly run half marathons and work as a fitness coach, personal trainer and health coach helping others reach their goals. This challenge is going to test my limits further still!
I aim going to create a mini documentary about this challenge with some of my back story to inspire people to do hard things and reap all the associated benefits from doing so.
I’m asking for your financial support to make this happen. The first $500 will be used to recruit a video editor to help make the documentary, and then anything above that will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation.
