Vet Bills for Ozzycat
A plea for financial assistance to cover veterinary bills of my beloved cat, Ozzy.

Hi friends and family,
My bestie fur family member of 14 years has needed urgent help in the last week for a serious infection, temperature of 50! Ozzy last saw a vet at age 7 months when I rescued him and he had his neutering operation. Apart from fight related abcesses, (he is a lover, but will fight hard to defend his food bowl!) he has never needed a further visit. Broken canine teeth are the issue so he will need surgery to get them out, and he should be good to go for a few more years I am sure.
Meanwhile, the vet bills are mounting and my pension only goes so far.
A sad update: Ozzy's blood test results have shown he is in serious renal failure and so no tooth surgery now. I am in bits today as I face my goodbye to my bestie. But no doubt he has been uncomfortable for a while and doesn't deserve suffering. I will find out tomorrow the cost of his euthanasia and edit my total accordingly. I so appreciate the kindness and generosity shown. I so appreciate it. 😭

Ozzy update 18 June 2025
Ozzy is stable and I have him on a new diet and have ordered a homeopathic remedy to ease his symptoms. He is in no pain but has high toxins and does become disoriented. Day by day. Thank you all so much as I have been able to look after him well so far.
