Victory House Rehabilitation need a van

Northland

Hi all my friends and contacts. I help out at a Rehab House for men wanting to get off addictions. It is a minimum of twelve months program. It is Christian based and the church we go to is associated with the home. The program is proving to be very successful with some guys being "clean" now for months. Lives are being transformed. They have a need and I am putting it out there. The house has a car that seats six and they now have eight men. They need transport to go out and work in the Community and help others with gardening etc. THE PROGRAM NEEDS A 10/12 SEATER VAN WITH A TOWBAR. IF YOU CAN HELP WITH A SUITABLE VAN OR WITH FUNDING FOR A VAN PLEASE PM ME. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COME AND SEE WHAT THE HOME DOES. GOD BLESS.

Please note: We had a previous Givealittle page here (https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/victory-house-rehabilitation-program-1). The organisation was gifted a vehicle which is why this page was closed. However, we now need a bigger vehicle and this is the reason for the second Givealittle page.

Rachel Herbert's involvement (page creator)

Pastor Ken is a regular support of the Victory house and is hoping to support them further in fundraising for their needs to awhi our men seeking a life free of addiction.

Use of funds

The funds will go towards a vehicle to transport these men to helping out the community, appointments, day to day errands and church.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
