Help 7yr old Vinny and his family while he is having cancer treatment

I am proud aunty of such a strong wee lad Vinny and Proud sister to My brother Carl and his partner Felicity who are awesome, loving, generous and devoted parents to Vinny and his siblings.

I am creating this page even though they were reluctant to create one after multiple people advising them to do so. The reality is that they need help!

Carl has had to leave his work behind since November ' 15 from Wellington to stay in Christchurch at the Ronald McDonald house where he and Felicity are caring full time for Vinny and his siblings (another due in October) they are running out of resourses and don't know how long unitl they can go home and back to an income. And to family and friends.

My nephew Vinny was born with a rough start to life with autism. He is such a beautifull spirited boy that captures your heart as soon as you meet him and never fails to make you laugh or put a smile on your face. So, November '15 only 6 short years into Vinny's life and only a couple of weeks of feeling ill, going back and forth to the doctors (where docs thought he had an upset tummy) My brother and his partner were distraught to be told that their son has stage 4 cancer: A tumor behind his nose bone and that it had spread into his lungs and worse yet his bone marrow. Vinny was given a 20% chance for any treatments to be successfull.

So far he has been a little battler! He finished his first round of chemo with significant outcome of no trace of Cancer in his bone marrow!! and has just finished radiation and is now into another round of chemo (not a smooth ride) the boy is worn out! and so are his parents.

We are all hopefull of a total recovery but poor Vinny has a long road ahead of hospitals and treatment.

Carl and Felicity are such awesome loving parents and for any parent this is a nightmare. They are trying so hard through the strains that life has thrown at them in such a short period of time from Vinny's Illness to family tragedies and other unexpected family trauma.

They are running out of resources. Please share your kindness for this family going through this hard time.
