Please help our family in St Vincent get back on their feet after the devastating volcanic eruption on the 9th of April 2021.
Nelson / Tasman
Two of our awesome kids Max & Amara are adopted from the tiny Caribbean country of St Vincent & The Grenadines, their birth family needs our help.
On the 9th of April 2021 La Soufriere Volcano in St Vincent erupted.
Thousands of people have been displaced & food & water is running out. While there will be limited emergency supplies in the short term, in the medium to long term the future looks grim for them. The toxic air & water pollution is deadly, water is contaminated & the falling ash debris has destroyed infrastructure, homes & crops.
Max has his birth mother & 6 siblings, & Amara has her birth mother (one of Max's sister) & one sibling living there through this tragedy, all money raised will go towards helping them get back on their feet.
Ngā mihi, and thank you, Karen & Hamish Darling
We are the adoptive parents of Max & Amara, we have a strong connection to their St Vincent birth family & wish to help in any way we can during this devastating time.
The money will be used to provide housing & basic essentials for Max & Amara's family to help ease the loss of home & incomes they are currently experiencing.
