Taal Volcano is currently on Alert level 4. It is a small volcano located in the middle of taal lake. Thousands of Filipinos live surrounding the volcano.

Batangas is our hometown and we would like to extend our help to our countrymen that are greatly affected by the volcanic eruption.

Everyone within the 14km radius are being evacuated. Thousands of people and animals are at risk of dying, some had already died. They need food, water, clothes, toys, n95 masks, blankets, matress, and all other essential items including medical supplies.

At the time of writing, Taal Volcano is on alert level 4. All surrounding towns especially those within the 10km radius has been totally covered by ashes. One earthquake after another has been felt eversince it started as well.

Although donations have been coming in, even coming from other victims themselves, they need more donations as it could last for months and months.

Funds will be used to buy the victims their essential needs. They will be passed on to other family (LATAYAN FAMILY) members who at the moment are disseminating supplies to the victims in different places. Our family in the Philippines are also in contact with the Catholic Church in providing help to the victims. Therefore some of the funds that will be collected would go to them as well.

They need everyone’s help to survive and recover from this.

We are Batanguenos currently living in New Zealand. We would like to raise funds for our fellow Batanguenos who are greatly affected by the volcanic eruption.

Use of funds

Funds will be sent to the Philippines to my brother Victor Latayan who is a fireman in Lipa City, Batangas. It will be distributed to different areas through the help of our family members, local church and local government units.
