$736 of $1,000 goal
Given by 14 generous donors in around 8 months

Please help me get to South Africa so I can pay the help forward to those in need.

Auckland

Hi everyone!

My name is Grace, and at the end of 2019 I have been given the amazing opportunity of travelling to St Lucia, South Africa to do volunteer work with VESA.

During the two weeks I am over there, I will be involved in helping teachers in local primary and preschools, building homes for families in need along with classrooms and bathrooms for the Khula Village, and educating the community on conservation, sustainability and health/hygiene.

I will also be working with the KZN-Ezemvelo Wildlife Authority in two wildlife conservation projects:

o The Saint Lucia Crocodile Center, with Nile Crocodiles, Dwarf Crocodiles, Slender-Snout Crocodiles and American Alligators

o The Emdoneni Cheetah Project, with Cheetahs, Caracals, Servals and African Wildcats

As well as exploring the local wildlife, scenery and Zulu culture.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated! Thank you all so much :)

Use of funds

Donations will go towards my programme costs. These costs involve:

- Hiring local tradespeople to assist in the building projects

- Building materials

- Donations to local organizations

- Flights, accommodation and food
