Sandra Volunteering in Samoa

Dear family, friends and colleagues, I have a fantastic opportunity to work as a volunteer nurse in Samoa! My children are all grown up and the only "person" who depends on me now and again is Nellie.

I am grasping this opportunity to work with patients who have a cancer diagnosis and to offer support to families and staff who care for patients.

I am totally self funding this work for one month and would be grateful for any support to help cover some of the costs (travel and accommodation). If I am fortunate enough to obtain funding beyond my costs, I will donate to an appropriate charity in Samoa. I will provide you all with updates and hopefully provide a successful evaluation of my work on this beautiful island with beautiful people.
