Christmas Vouchers for Needy Families

I just ask for a donation to contribute to blessing these families with a gift voucher this Christmas.

Will you help? The more that donate, the further the reach of blessing needy families at Christmas time through Single Parent Services Waikato.

As a practicum counsellor at Single Parents Services, I see parents of great strength who want the best for their children. I also see great need in the area of finances for people running a household and providing basic needs for them and their children. Many of these families are under stress and disadvantaged due to a difficult upbringing, lack of family support, health needs, previous relationships, debt, previous domestic violence or other forms of abuse. They do the best that they can for their families, often going without basic items like clothing, sanitary items or food. As a social services agency we do the best to support these families in their basic needs, however there is much more that can be done.

I thought it would be great to bless these needy families this Christmas with a Warehouse voucher, so that they don't miss out and get to enjoy this Christmas, relieving the stress and worry about where money for presents for their kids might come from.
