The SVA has two key elements. Firstly, thousands of our volunteers are transported en masse daily to suburbs to clean up worst affected areas. Secondly, core response units are deployed to specific locations that require specific skills. Donations are used to pay for transportation, food and equipment. We are all volunteers and we depend on donations to keep us going.
