Taranaki
The Taranaki branch of New Zealand Red Cross are holding their annual ‘No Limits’ youth programme in October, and local artist Beth Pottinger-Hockings has created this amazing felt artwork to help raise funds for the event.
“By Jove, its Jupiter” took Beth over 100 hours to design and felt. The dimensions of the piece are 205cm x 125cm and she has donated her time to help with this awesome fundraiser. The materials were kindly sponsored by:
- Sentosa Textiles Inc (Peter Lucena) in Auckland
- Aurora Centre (Counselling Services) in New Plymouth.
The 3D artwork, valued at $1250, is also on display at the New Plymouth Observatory and is now available for purchase.
