Waikato Environmental problem helped through sport and education
Giving back to the Environment helping control mans mistakes and giving the next generation an environmental sport.

What started as a sport has lead to the discovery of the environmental damage caused by released species into the Waikato water ways,
Koi Carp and Cat fish need to be removed from the river system or controlled.
Hopefully through education and the idea that environmental improvements and sport can be merged into a fun and healthy pass time.
Most of the removal of pest fish by myself is done by walking the banks and and fields which is a limiting factor in how many I can remove from the Waikato River.
Use of funds
Funds raised will go towards small cheap flat bottomed boat to get into the swamps, nets to increase removal rates. construction of control points to stop the spread. equipment for beginners and teaching methods.
