Waimairi Surf Livesaving Club needs a new roof. Keep the webcams and lifeguards dry!

Canterbury

Hi There,

The Waimairi SLSC roof is now about 30 years old and is starting to leak. As a fully volunteer service we need to raise about $29,000 to get it replaced. Some great organizations have got us half way there and the rest is up to us.

If you like looking at the webcams to see what's happening on our beautiful beach, please give us a hand to keep them dry for the next 30 years!

Thanks from all the lifeguards, juniors and parents who keep our beach safe

About us

Waimairi Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer service based in Christchurch. We have about 60 lifeguards who patrol over summer keeping our beach safe. We also have about 130 juniors (under 14) who also do a range of skills and competitions in the hope of being lifeguards themselves when they turn 15!

Use of funds
