Waimauku Op Shop Project

$860 of $12,000 goal
Given by 10 generous donors in around 9 months

A central connection point to donate goods, helping people in need, leading to less isolation and loneliness and supporting our community

Auckland

Hi Everyone!

To better help the people and families in our community, we want to set up an Opportunity Shop

We are committed to our local community and look forward to serving it by recycling donations of clothing and used goods to then be purchased by others. We also want to provide a place of caring, connection and friendship to help those in need.

We already have a small movable building and a central location to put it, so we don't have much to go! BUT we do need your help raising some funds to help establish the building, council consents, and some construction work to get it ready to use!

A little from each will go a long way, more than a little will go even further! :)

About us

We are a small caring independent church central to the Waimauku township. We want to support the well being of all people, especially those in need in our community by extending our love and companionship with practical works

Use of funds

Any funds donated would go towards... relocating a small portacom sized building, install foundations, ramps and wheelchair access, general carpentry work, painting plus any other council requirements. Excess funds would go towards carparking

Thank you so much for the donations so far but sadly as you can see, we are a long way from our goal to help our community. Every little bit counts. Please give generously :)
