Students of Wainui Beach School and the community would love a half pipe for furthering the skate board skills they have developed.
Since the donation of a variety of quarter pipes at Wainui Beach School there are a large number of students enjoying skateboarding before school/morning tea/lunch and after school and over the weekend. It is very popular and the rapid rise in skill level from Yr 1 - Yr 6 has been incredible to watch. Students are happily taking turns, risk taking, encouraging each other and having fun.
A low but wide half pipe would be a fantastic asset for the school. It would further encourage skill development.
Here is an overview of the ramp:

We are looking to raise money towards the final cost of the skate ramp. The sooner the money is raised the sooner we have the ramp for the kids and community to use. Every dollar counts.
We already have businesses supporting us and if you are interested please contact me for further information: nic@wainuibeach.school.nz
Thank you so much for the support.
Wainui Beach School is set beside one of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand. We cater for Year 1-6 students and believe that children learn best when they are happy and feeling positive about themselves and their environment.
Money raised will be put towards purchasing a skateboard ramp.
