Phew, after a long week and just over 100km walked Mindy and Kylie are officially DONE! Thank you everyone who has supported us, donated and came along to the talks. Together you raised almost $1500 for Gender Minorities Aoteoroa, which is just mind blowing. Thank you again!
Kylie and Mindy have been recovered from the wilds of just outside Featherston, a little damp and cold for which medic Rey has prescribed a warm fire and a steaming cup of coffee. We've never been a whanau to do things halfway, so you shouldn't be surprised by the shocking 31km walked today!! Thank you to those who have donated since the talk yesterday, we really appreciate all of you!
Well that was exciting, from rain showers to logging trucks our walks are never boring. Kylie and Mindy have walked just over 17km and have been enjoying the opshops of Masterton before heading to the library for our first talk! Mindy and Kylie are VERY busy training getting ready for the big walk and the hard work is paying off, literally! Thanks to the generous donations made we have already been able to send GMA almost $900, money that will be working hard to support many transgender people across the country.
