The Goal of Walking! Beating spinal cord injuries!!
Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty
I'm reaching out today to share my journey and ask for your support. 8 years ago, I experienced a spinal cord injury that has significantly impacted my life and meant that I am now confined to a wheelchair. Despite the challenges, I remain hopeful and determined to explore every avenue for recovery and to be able to walk again! I train for multiple hours a week of rehab at NextStep while also helping to run the business, work on my own health and create a family of my own. I feel like I have been working so hard and am now at a point that I am ready to explore how to increase my recovery while my body is in peak physical readiness. The one thing that seems achievable with some positive results is stem cell therapy.
Stem cells have the incredible potential to regenerate and repair damaged tissues, offering hope for those living with spinal cord injuries like mine. However, accessing this treatment comes with a significant financial burden.
That's why I'm humbly asking for your support. Your sponsorship would contribute directly to covering the costs of stem cell therapy, that will take place at one of the top stem cell treatment centres in America, bringing me one step closer to the possibility of walking again and an improved quality of life.
Your generosity, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in my journey towards recovery. Thank you for considering supporting me in this crucial endeavor.
Reaching out on my behalf :)
