Journey with Brent
Havelock North, Hawke's Bay
Our friend, brother, colleague, and all-round legend Brent has never been one to back away from a challenge — whether it’s diving into a new project or diving headfirst into IRONMĀORI training. 🏊♂️🚴♀️🏃♂️💪
But alongside preparing for that epic November event with a crew of solid mates, Brent now faces a much tougher, unexpected battle: a recurrence of cancer, now at stage 4. It’s a heavy diagnosis — with lymph nodes and liver involvement — and while it’s not curable, it’s not the end of the story either.
Brent is choosing life, strength, and hope. He's exploring every option available — chemo, immunotherapy, holistic support, fasting, and more. In true Brent style, he's leaning in with courage, curiosity, and purpose.
As a team, we want to walk this road with him — not just in spirit, but in action.
If you know Brent, you know his heart. He’s given so much to so many — now it’s our turn to give back. We invite you to stand with him. To support. To encourage. To be part of this journey. Because this journey — while steep — is still a journey, and there is life still to live, love still to give, and so many moments yet to be written. 🌿
Brent, we’re with you. He wero tēnei, engari e tū ana au — this is a challenge, but still I stand.
