Wanaka skate park extension fundraising

Our skatepark is nestled in front of the lake in beautiful Wanaka , New Zealand

You won’t find a more picturesque spot for a skateboard park

We are very lucky to have it and it gets a LOT of use

Stage 2 was completed a few years ago and is a masterpiece of concrete in the form of a world class bowl

The Wanaka Skate Collective is raising funds for Stage 3 which will be a more street style section with smaller ramps and other features

Stage 3 will give beginners a less imposing area to learn and develop new skills while giving those who prefer ‘street style’ riding options that currently don’t exist in Wanaka

All this while helping ease the congestion and collisions we see during busy periods

The council has money allocated for the project and we will be hitting up trusts for funding too but we also ask the community who use the park to contribute and help us build an amazing facility that generations to come will enjoy
