Supporting my journey to represent New Zealand in international obstacle racing by helping fund travel, training, and competition costs.
Nationwide
Kia ora friends,
I’m incredibly proud (and still a little stunned) to share that I’ve been selected for the 2026 New Zealand Obstacle Team, representing NZ at international championship events in Australia and Ireland.
Obstacle course racing blends endurance, strength, grip, and resilience, and earning a place on the NZ team reflects years of consistent training alongside work, family, and everyday life. Wearing the silver fern is a huge honour and a responsibility I take seriously.
Like many athletes in developing sports, representing New Zealand is largely self-funded. I’m fundraising to help cover the real costs of the campaign, including:
- international travel,
- accommodation,
- race entries and team fees,
- training-related expenses,
- and required team kit.
Your support helps remove financial barriers and allows me to focus fully on preparing well, racing hard, and representing New Zealand with pride. Every contribution, no matter the size, genuinely makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is just as appreciated.
Thank you for being part of the journey and for helping take a little bit of Aotearoa onto the world stage.
Supporting journeys like this keeps grassroots sport alive and shows what’s possible through consistency, community, and belief in big goals.
Every message, share, and donation carries real weight, and I’ll be thinking of everyone who helped make this possible when I step onto the course.
