Help us finish building one of New Zealand's best little trails!

Waikato

The Pauanui Tairua Trail is a scenic and varied route along the beautiful Tairua River on the Coromandel's east coast.

When finished, the trail will provide a 15km link between the two Coromandel communities, suitable for walkers and cyclists of all ages. It will bring a range of economic, conservation, cultural and health & safety benefits to the region.

Part of the trail is open along the south bank of the river from Pauanui towards Hikuai and is already being enjoyed by thousands of people every year.

About us

The trust oversees community projects in Hikuai District. Our current focus is the funding and construction of a cycle trail between Tairua and Pauanui.

Use of funds

All funds raised will go towards the continued planning and construction of the trail, as well as maintenance of the existing trail.
