3 August 2022we are incredibly grateful for the support YOU, our community have shown us! We have raised $24,270 from our community to date to help us stay open. This has helped our board make the decision to move.
We are in ongoing discussions with Hastings District Council, Hawke's Bay Regional Council and Napier City Council about funding. We hope to have decisions from the councils this month. We are also in discussions with potential corporate sponsors and looking for more.
Based on all of these discussions we have dropped our give a little target to $49,000 to help us continue our service. We wouldn't be where we are without our community, from donating, to emailing and talking to our councils about the need to keep the Environment Centre service going, it has all helped....so a major thank you to you! We are asking for your support to share this campaign far and wide in one final last push to get us over the line and locked in for a year while we work on growing other streams of income.
