Nourished for Nil is proud to be part of the waste minimisation in Hawke's Bay ensuring that good quality food is not sent to landfill. We work hard to be the first choice for growers, producers and manufacturers when unsold food or food surplus is being considered.
Our mahi is available to all members of our community and no qualification is necessary.
This service is only possible through ongoing donations - both financial and surplus food - and the help of many volunteers. Thank you for supporting us in whatever way you choose!
More about us
At Nourished for Nil we rescue surplus food and share it with everyone in our community, no questions asked. Partnering with social agencies, we also support vulnerable groups by offering food parcels and a dignified shopping experience at our social supermarket.
