WEATHER STATIONS TO BE BUILT AROUND THE WELLINGTON REGION FOR PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE LATEST WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Wellington
My name is Daniel Talbot,
i was born and raised in Wainuiomata before moving to Upper Hutt in 1995. I love forecasting the weather and enjoy teaching people about how the weather works. I have my own weather forecasting page on facebook called. WELLINGTON SEVERE WEATHER REPORTS.
I write regular local forecasts for the Wellington Region, providing the latest information during storms from Thunderstorms to Cyclones.
These stations will be state of the art and WMO standard, comes with Lightning Tracker, Temperature gauge, Humidity, Barometric pressure, Wind Speed, Rainfall totals and will be mounted on a 10 metre tower. Attached to the tower will be 4k HD cameras so we can see up to the second video imagery of current conditions.
The first Weather Station will be situated in Upper Hutt at the top of Seymour Grove.
For years Upper Hutt has not had good accurate weather readings for the weather elements so this is one of the reasons.
By having these stations, I will be able to provide more detailed and LOCAL up to minute weather information on the conditions around the Wellington Region. These stations could also be put in places where we can see current sea conditions if you were interested in fishing, wave height and how rough it might be.
Thanks for all the support, Daniel
Money will be spent on the purchase of all Weather instruments and permits needed for the Weather Station
