Wellies for Wellness

Wellies for Wellness 10km walk to create awareness and support for highs school students around NZ by NZ students.

Nationwide

Wellies for Wellness is an initiative from Christchurch Girls High in collaboration with other schools around NZ, to walk 10km in gumboots I their local communities to raise awareness and support for Gumboot Friday and I Am Hope.

Taking place on the Sunday 25th August with the main walk taking place in Christchurch leaving from Christchurch Girls High and walking around Hagley Park.

About us

As well as our current visits into schools and communities we are developing a strength based, youth led peer support and mentoring program aimed at empowering our nations young people.

Use of funds

Free counselling sessions for anyone 25 and under via Gumboot Friday platform.
