Mullets for Hope 2024

$15,837 donated
Given by 344 generous donors in around 6 months

Grow your mullets as a sign of solidarity and a sign of HOPE! We want to spread the message that there is always hope.

Nationwide

Over the past 10 years, we have spoken and listened to over 300,000 kids in schools from the top to the bottom of New Zealand.

Today we offer a free programme to primary schools around the country called Little People Big Feelings. We also fund a programme that gets more counsellors inside of schools. We have created books for our youngest kids, barista trained struggling youth with community coffee carts, and enabled free counselling of approx 90,000 sessions for young people via the Gumboot Friday platform.

About us

As well as our current visits into schools and communities we are developing a strength based, youth led peer support and mentoring program aimed at empowering our nations young people.

Use of funds

Donations will help young New Zealands via the programmes we offer such as Little People Big Feelings where we visit schools around the country and normalise conversations around emotions.
