24 hours until departure for the UK!!
Unlike many universities overseas, our athletes self fund all of their training year round as traditional club athletes. We also have athletes that work in the trades as builders and coaches to help fund their rowing. Helping them with their trip is extremely appreciated by us all! We look forward to making you proud.
Our Henley squad has had the opportunity to race varying distances against the RNZ Under 19 and Under 21 squads. Without giving away the results out of respect to the RNZ crews, we did extremely well showing our club men are going international capable speeds at the age representative level in New Zealand. Check out the video with the Under 19s on our Instagram @westendrc.
Henley racing begins in just over two weeks and we depart this coming Saturday! Your support has helped tremendously.

We are aiming to raise at least $1,000 per person on our trip to help our overall cost of $75,000. Any donation large or small will help our university students race overseas!
A massive thank you to those who have supported the West End athletes so far. Our accomodation and boat rentals for the USA National Championship are $3,700 and we are $300 dollars away from covering those costs!
We still have a long way to go with funding, but every little bit helps. If you know someone who wants to join our supporter team, please pass this page on to them.
The team is currently at training camp on Lake Karapiro and in high spirits with the progress we are making. Looking forward to representing our club and country in a few weeks time!
