At the 2022 New Zealand Club National Championship, West End Rowing Club’s Senior men dominated the field winning the Senior Men’s 8+ and Senior Men’s 4-. Ten athletes will now represent our club on the world stage by competing at the USA National Championship as well as at the most prestigious regatta in the world: the Henley Royal Regatta in the UK.
Our team is made up of primarily university students aged 18-23 and the cost of this trip is being paid for by the athletes. With borders reopening around the world and the increased cost of travel, we will be paying $75,000 for flights, accomodation, car rental, boat/equipment rental, travel insurance, entry fees, meals and many other expenses.
Please consider a charitable donation to support our efforts to represent our club and our country overseas. A donation will significantly support West End's athletes towards our mission to being the best rowing club in the world!
About us
Founded in 1884, West End Rowing Club is based at Saunders Reserve, Avondale in Auckland. Catering for all; from juniors to masters, from novices to internationals, West End Rowing Club is one of the largest and most successful rowing clubs in NZ.

Flights, accomodation, car rentals & transportation, boat/equipment rental, travel insurance, entry fees, meals and many other expenses.
