In early hours (3am) on Monday 28th February 2022 the house my parents where living in at
174 Awhitu Road Waiuku
Burnt to the ground, thanks to our father above no one was hurt or worse died 😔
My parents & their boarder lost everything. Theres only so much we can do to help them rebuild & replace the things they need (clothes, kai, blankets, money to replace birth certificates, bank cards etc). The house & content wasn't insured as they where just tenants (kaitiaki) to the property 🥺 As there covid everywhere we have them safe at our baby sisters house. I've been asked on behalf of my whaanau to seek help from whaanau & friends to help them out 💙
This is a give a little post to help our whaanau rebuild & replace things they need.
Thank you to everyone that took the time to read this post, sending messages of love & dropping off koha to Nana & Papa, you'll find mum & dad down Taurangatira Road ( wear a mask lol) and once again thank u to everyone.
