Whakatane Scottish Pipe Band urgently needs new uniforms/ instruments
Bay of Plenty
Whakatane Scottish pipe band are rebuilding. We have 10 experienced members and and 14 new learners 8 of who are under the age of 15. Only half of our band is properly dressed. All members buy their own shirts socks and shoes but all Kilts ($700 each), Glengarries ($85 each) Jackets ($420 each), Belts, Buckles ($120 each) end up being owned by the Pipe Band. Ultimately we would like to kit out our whole band with new gear as our uniforms a very old, ill fitting and worn, but right now we urgently need to dress our new members first. New instruments are also important for new members. Our band would be most thankful for any sponsorship or donations so we can properly represent our area of the Eastern Bay of Plenty in Parades events and Anzac services.

The money will firstly dress our new members of the Pipe band then we will upgrade old uniforms
to dress the band to standard. Money is also needed for instruments.
