Wheels for Di!
Di needs a new, comfortable and safe wheelchair to get her independence back. Will you help her achieve this goal?

Di is a highly independent woman with a great love for the outdoors, animals and people. She had a very, very difficult year in so many ways. Respecting her privacy means that we won't go into all the details. Di has had 3 major accidents in the dysfunctional chair, 13 fractures to her legs in Sept, then a skin tear requiring a skin graft. Di has had a recent stay in hospital and needs a new, fully functional wheelchair. As she has limited means, it would be impossible for her to buy one, and the health authorities just seem unable to understand that she needs a new one. She is the expert here as she lives most of her life in the wheelchair and understands the upkeep and maintenance of it, and also when its life is over. Please help us get enough money for a new, good wheelchair, so that Di can get around and be more independent and safe than she's been over the last year.

Use of funds
Buying a new wheelchair for Di. Any money over would be spent on other equipment that is necessary for her day to day life. If things don't go to plan, the money also be used to ease her life.

Thanks so much to those who have already donated to Di's page, please make sure you share the page on social media so we can get the information out to as many people as possible. Di is currently without a wheelchair and this means her independence is nil. With a wheelchair, she gets to live the life she chooses.
