The story of the life of an All Black who became an alcoholic and nearly lost everything that was important to him.
Wellington
I am publishing my biography. The story of an All Black (1956-62) who struggled with addiction to alcohol. Faced the possibility of going to jail for 7 years and tried to end the shame and guilt by taking my own life. The recovery from hopelessness and despair is a story of hope and encouragement. I’m looking for people who would like to join the team and support this venture. Pledges both small and large are acceptable. Pledges of $100.00 and multiples of that amount will receive 3 copies of the published book autographed, for every $100.00 pledged. In addition, every $100.00 pledged will participate in the profit from book sales after 2000 books sold. Title of the book is "When the Crowd Stops Roaring"
The book is being self published and the funds will be covering the costs. Should the book sell well and there are surplus funds they will be distributed to the writer, the MacEwan Family Trust; and to those who pledged support.
Publishing of the book is now November 2018 9 September 2018
A delay in material preparation has necessitated to delay publishing until November. We have applied to extend our fund raising with "Give a Little" to close at the end of October 2018.
Greetings to you both and thank you for joining the team in support of this project.
