When The Grit Hits The Fan - 2 Free Family Variety Shows to Bring Joy and Aroha to Hawke's Bay
Assist Radio Hawkes Bay and Pea-Knuckle Productions bring joy and aroha to families in Hawkes Bay post cyclone.

A musical and comedic family show for those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle
The lineup is Suzy Cato, Captain Festus McBoyle’s Travellin’ Variety Show, Le Cirque de JP and 2 local Bands. Show dates ; Saturday 20th May Napier Municipal Theatre and Sunday 21st May Toi Toi Opera House Hastings.
The show's purpose is to bring joy and aroha to one of the regions hardest hit by cyclone Gabrielle. This is your chance to ensure that mental health and wellbeing prevails. Laughter is the best form of medicine, it improves oxygen flow and releases feel good endorphins.
Help us increase the laughter in the Bay. This show is free for the families and tickets will be distributed through the local family service providers working in Hawkes Bay. It is vitally important that the mental health and wellness of the community is provided for.
Please assist us in providing this unforgettable fun packed show for the children and families of Hawkes Bay.

Due to some other external funding that are currently being finalised, we have been able to reduce the goal amount for the page to 10k. We will update you on these external funding as soon as its confirmed.

Radio Hawkes Bay is a community access media station. This means our broadcasts/ podcasts are made by, for and about the community. We are the station that puts you on air.
Use of funds
Money raised will be used to help bring these amazing performers to Hawkes Bay. All money above the required amount will be donated to Napier Family Centre, Heretaunga Women's Centre and Rural Support Trust for ongoing wellness services.
