Help Will's recovery from top surgery!

On June 15th, I’ll be heading to Thailand to have top surgery (a mastectomy). This is something I’ve wanted for at least 5 years. (See image below for my rough ‘after’ estimate).

I’m going overseas because this surgery would cost me around $30k to have here, which is unattainable. I have managed to save up enough to have it done in Thailand at a third of this cost, in a hospital that has an LGBTQ+ wing, and with surgeons who are experts at this kind of surgery. I’m covering the surgery and my own flights, and I’m lucky enough to have a wonderful mummy who is joining me, and shouting us the accommodation.

So why do I need your help?

Although I am paying for this surgery myself, it's pretty much my entire savings. Having to start from scratch is quite scary for an almost 19-year-old who has been working for three years now.

Recovery from surgery is at a minimum 4 weeks, and I probably won’t be back to normal for a few months. I need to take at least a month off work, and I would appreciate your help to keep me on my feet during my recovery period.

I have worked super hard to be able to afford this life-changing surgery on my own, and your donations would help keep me comfortable while I spend a few weeks lying in bed!

It’s my birthday next week, and since I can’t drink in preparation for surgery, why not donate $20 instead of shouting me a cocktail?!
