WJCC Shavuot Appeal
This Shavuot we're launching an appeal for donations to have the white vestments we use during High Holidays cleaned and repaired.
Nationwide
Our vestments are priceless antiques and unfortunately can't simply be dropped off at the dry cleaners so we'll be taking them to Te Papa's conservator for cleaning and repair by hand.
This care comes at a price and we have launched a cause to raise the funds we need. Please support it generously!
About us
The Wellington Jewish Community Centre is the focus of Jewish life in New Zealand's habour city capital. The Centre is home to Wellington’s 170 year old Orthodox Jewish congregation and many Jewish institutions such as a kindergarten, youth groups, the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand, a Kosher Coop, and many social, cultural, and philanthropic groups and activities.
