70 year old woman viciously attacked Let Women Speak Auckland 25 March 2023

Most of you have seen the footage of the vicious attack on the 70 year old woman, Emily Steel*, at the Let Women Speak (attempted) rally in Auckland NZ on the 25 March 2023. Emily sustained serious injuries from this attack, her life has been fractured and it will take her a long time to heal emotionally and physically. I can assure you that she is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances. Rex Landy collected initial donations via her substack (buy me a coffee), on behalf of Emily to help get her over the first few days and to have a support person. Alleged Suspect appears in court. 22 April 2023
A 20 year old man appeared in court on 20/03/2023 charged with common assault. He did not enter a plea and was remanded on bail (NZ requires no $$'s to be set down). His next court date is set for early May 2023. Emily is disappointed with the level of the charge and feels it's inadequate. She is grateful that the alleged offender has been caught.
