Nine days since first Keytruda infusion
13 March 2016Now nine days on since my Keytruda infusion on 4 Mar I have to say I am feeling somewhat better. My hip and lower back pain is under control now in that before I was needing to taking ‘breakthrough’ medication for the pain that the long lasting (12 hrly) medication could not control. I am however experiencing pain in my left collar bone area and left rib cage (intermittent only). I had my first good night’s sleep in six months on Friday night. Normally I have been waking every 1-2 hours with either pain or the need to go wees but this time I woke only once. May that continue!
I spend my days mostly at appointments , with visitors or visiting, soaking up rays of vitamin D (Dad will be pleased), watching my Uncles DVDs of Downton Abbey or asleep. The amount of sleep I need at the mo is incredible. I woke at 1230pm today missing a lunch visit all together!
Next infusion date is to be advised but will be just before or after Easter.
The number of donors keep rolling in and I am literally gob smacked with all your generosity. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
