World Robotics Competition Houston USA

$225 of $2,300 goal
Given by 4 generous donors in 11 weeks

Funding for airfare to Houston for the world championship in robotics and coding in April 2026.

Auckland

My son (15) is a member of the team from Dunedin that won the New Zealand finals for the under 16 First Lego League competition in Robotics and Coding sponsored by Lego and Boeing. The finals were held in Auckland in December, 2025.

As the New Zealand champions they are off to the World Championships in Houston in the USA.

The world championship competition runs through the last week of April and the first week of May, 2026.

I would like to join my son in Houston and am looking for funding for the airfare.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
