World University Futsal Championship in Portugal - Bee

Kia Ora,

My name is Britney-Lee I am currently studying at Canterbury University in my final year and have been selected to represent New Zealand at the University World Champs in Portugal from the 18th-24th July. I have been very fortunate to have had some sponsorship however due to COVID, the rising costs for us to travel has increased an additional of $2000 each from the original budgeted amount. The total cost of the trip is $9000 per player.

I am currently a New Zealand Futsal Fern since 2017 and representing our country in a sport I am very passionate about, it is an honour and dream of mine since a very early age.

This is an amazing opportunity for University students throughout New Zealand and will be the first international competition I have been able to attend after ACL surgery in September last year.

I am also a representative of the Canterbury United Pride Futsal team. I also coach Futsal, I am the head coach for the senior girls team at St Andrew’s College in Christchurch since 2018.
