Xena (the currently hobbling) Warrior Dog Princess

Hi everyone, me and the roommate Spinda (see profile pic) really need your help. Xena, the beautiful 3-year-old American Staffy in the pictures, is suffering from ligament damage in her hind legs and needs cruciate knee surgery to stop the pain. She has such a lovely nature, loves cuddles and playing with her "brother" Kaleb (the 2 legged one in the pics) and keeping him company at night, sleeping in his room. It only takes about 30 mins of playing together before Xena is reduced to limping and hobbling for the rest of the day. The condition is deteriorating, and Kaleb and his mum (my sister & nephew) just cannot afford to get Xena the help she needs on their own. The surgery will be approx $5000 with vet and recovery care on top, so I'm really hoping y'all might come to the rescue and help us in some way towards this goal. Anything at all will be greatly appreciated.
