My name is Yamato, I'm an 18 year old living in Auckland with a dream to represent New Zealand.
On the 3rd of September, I will be competing on the world stage representing New Zealand at the Sub-Junior Powerlifting World Championships located in Malta, Europe. I begun my powerlifting journey last year, winning the National title under the 74kg weight class. This gave me the qualification and opportunity to be selected into the NZ national team and to lift at the World Championships. As my last year being a Sub-Junior, I have made it my absolute priority to not miss this chance and to take it with all confidence.
I would appreciate it dearly if you could contribute to my journey as expenses such as flights, accommodation, competition fees, and tracksuits are not provided.
