Talented young blind man wanting to get to space camp. Needing your help..

Hi my name is Jess. I am 19 years old and I was born blind. Growing up my father noticed my passion for music. I soon saved up and brought me my very first piano and have weekly piano lessons with my music teacher Mrs Bradley. My piano teacher wasn't expecting much from me but I practised everyday and most times without help from others. I really loved being able to create sound, and a tune that i was making myself!

I often busk on the streets of Napier which I enjoy as I am able to share my love of music with others. I also play for my school friends and at age care facilities. My love of music has enabled me to give back to the community while doing something I enjoy.

I am asking for your help as I have been saving over the last few years to forfull my dream of going to America to Nasa and experience my other passion which is my love of space. In my spare time I like to listen to videos about space travels and the amazing things that happen in our solar system.

The money that I receive along with the money I have saved will enable me to forfull my dream of visiting Nasa and hopefully I will be able to see a space launch. While I am in America I would like to visit other blind organisations and play for children like myself. Being born blind has not stopped me

from achieving and I would like to share my love for music with others.
