Young couple lose all to Westport floods two weeks before baby is due. Raising money to help them rebuild their lives.
West Coast
Imagine having your house full of water and sewerage two weeks before your baby is due. Sadly, this is what has happened to Tyler and Amy, a young couple who have just lost everything in the recent floods in Westport. Living with them too was Tyler's 10 year old son Jaxon and his dad Brian who are also victims to this tragic event.
The devastation can be viewed in this article which Tyler has been interviewed in https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/weather-news/125787201/the-house-is-rooted-westport-flood-evacuees-return-home-to-carnage
Unfortunately, Tyler and Amy were uninsured so need help with the costs associated with rebuilding their life after this tragic event. The money raised will go towards finding new accommodation, furnishings and items for their baby.
All of Tyler and Amy's family and friends would like to thank all donator's from the bottom of their heart for their support. A baby's arrival is stressful enough without this added stress.
I am Amy's cousin.
