YWAM Bethlehem Leaders Internship Support: January 21st to April 5th, 2019

Ernest Sirefwe, a missionary from Namibia, has been accepted into a course of study through the organization 'Youth With A Mission'. (January 21st to April 5th, 2019)

The course he is accepted to participate in is the 'YWAM Bethlehem Leaders Internship.'

Focus of the Internship:

'Join us for your Leaders Internship in breathtaking Tauranga, New Zealand. In this three-month course, you will be equipped in the heart and practicals of leadership. As well as joining this community centered around prayer, worship, and sending missionaries to the nations, you will focus on topics such as:

Principles of servant leadership

Building teams as a leader

How to serve your local community

Leadership in cross-cultural missions

Introduction to culture and vision of YWAM Bethlehem

You have the opportunity to put this training straight into practice during the four-week Outreach. As leaders, we are committed to reaching the lost, caring for the poor, and loving the one in front of us. This short-term outreach will serve long-term workers and come alongside existing ministries.'

We served together in Namibia at Beautiful Kidz in 2017 and from there have built a strong friendship. Beautiful Kidz, Namibia works in a community that supports families in need by providing education for children who cannot afford the general school fees in the area. They provide biblical and practical education and support the communities daily needs. This has led to the opportunity for him to further his studies here in NZ. He has several qualifications in youth work, community development projects, including an agricultural focus, with the desire to further his studies in leadership and social work. Some significant support has been provided for his trip to New Zealand but there is still financial support needed. With the permission of Ernest, we are seeking your help to reach his financial goals for his study particularly.
