Zack has been competing in Slalom kayaking since a young age and has represented New Zealand for the past 4 years in the U18 category. He achieved 5th at Junior World Championships last year and ranked 3rd junior in the world. This week he achieved his goal and qualified for the New Zealand senior canoe slalom team to compete at 2019 Senior World Cups and Senior World Championships. Zack's aim for 2019 is to qualify a 2020 Olympic spot for NZ by placing in the top 15 nations at World Championships.
Competing at this level in a sport, representing New Zealand and being able to travel to overseas competitions is a privilege. It also takes huge commitment and involves many hours of training and significant cost. Zack is a very determined athlete and 100% committed to these goals. He would be very grateful for any support.
