Unfortunately, the results from the bone marrow aspirate weren't quite what we wanted to hear. Zander fell into the "high risk" category, meaning that for this next stage (consolidation period), he will be going down a much more intensive path of chemotherapy treatment. We as a family, will be staying in Christchurch for the next 10-12 weeks.

This feels like a long time and we are missing home. We need to take this one day at a time.

Zander has already been through so much over the past 6 weeks. And he really has been such a trooper!

We are nearing the end of Zander's inital 29 day induction period. This is the completion of his first round of chemotherapy. On day 29 he will have his bone marrow aspirate procedure to check where he is tracking and to establish the next route for treatment. We can only hope for the best possible results for this stage!

The last 4 weeks seemed to have merged into one big potato feast ( among some other food groups) for Zander after the steriods took a hold of him. Get this boy some spud stat!!!

There has also been a decent amount of Paw petrol watching for our little fan 🐶

We will continue with updates on here. We thank you all so much for your support 🙏 ❤️
