Raising funds for Zander
Nelson / Tasman
Help Support Brave Little Zander.
At just two years old, Zander is already showing incredible strength. Recently diagnosed with leukemia, he is now facing the toughest fight of his young life. Known for his gentle nature and bright smile, Zander should be spending his days playing and exploring the world. Instead, he is in Christchurch receiving urgent treatment.
His family is by his side every step of the way, staying close so they can support him through this journey. Zander is also surrounded by the love of his two brothers — Hunter (5) and baby Ryder — who are part of his strong and caring support network.
This fundraiser has been created to support Zander and help with the costs associated with his care during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and help ensure Zander has the support he needs throughout his treatment.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean so much.
Thank you for keeping Zander in your thoughts, prayer and surrounding him with love, strength, and hope.

Funds raised will go towards help with the costs associated with his care any unfunded health aides and also living costs for his family while they navigate through this.
One day at a time 27 May 2026
Unfortunately, the results from the bone marrow aspirate weren't quite what we wanted to hear. Zander fell into the "high risk" category, meaning that for this next stage (consolidation period), he will be going down a much more intensive path of chemotherapy treatment. We as a family, will be staying in Christchurch for the next 10-12 weeks.
This feels like a long time and we are missing home. We need to take this one day at a time.
Zander has already been through so much over the past 6 weeks. And he really has been such a trooper!
