Zeppelin needs an urgent op
Please help me raise money to pay for Zeppelins operation. He has a large lump on his head that the vet has biopsied but was inconclusive.

I need help paying for an operation for Zeppelin my 7 year old best friend (Staffy/Hungarian Vizsla) The vet doesn't know exactly what the lump on his head is but it needs to be scanned, opened and cleaned out and will cost about $1000. He is much worse since taking this profile photo and the swelling has now closed his right eye. He won't let me put ice on it anymore.
I know it's a tough time to be asking for help but I thought if everyone put in $1 or $2 and shared it with their friends and family it wouldn't pinch too much.
I am trying to start my own business but I'm on the WINZ benefit and have already spent my rent to get medication for him on Boxing Day. WINZ wouldn't help but I did try. Dog's aren't a necessity apparently.
I think it is a hedgehog quill as he found a hedgehog in the garden a couple of weeks ago and let out a yelp.
He is being treated at Humananimals in South Dunedin, and they have been amazing.
Use of funds
The vet has given me an estimate of the operation costs and all the money will go to them.

Zeppelin's operation went well although they couldn't find any foreign bodies.The vet took tissue samples and blood samples etc for testing. He has a very large open wound with two drains sticking out and is very woozy but home safe with me in his bed (I'm not in his bed) He did manage some raspberry iceblock when he got home.He isn't suitable for photographs sorry it's too gory.
Back to the vet on Thursday to have the drains removed and maybe some results.
Vet's bill to date is $1100. A very good friend also paid $100 direct to the vet so thanks for that Gaye and Scotty, you rock x.
