Ziva is our adopted rescue pup of 7 months old that has just been diagnosed with genetic SEVERE double hip dysplasia and requires major surgery in Jan 2016 with 3 months of Aqua Therapy before and 3 months after her operation. She also needs expensive medication to keep her as comfortable as possible until she have her operation. The operation was quoted at approx $3000. Medication is $300. Aqua Therapy twice a week for 6 months is approx $2000. Her initial Specialist Visit was $180 plus a vet visit and xrays of approx $120 so all up we are looking at approx $5600 to give Ziva the rest of her life to live pain free and still be able to run like the wind and be a normal happy go lucky dog. she is the most sweet natured wee pup who we absolutely adore and want to do the very best for her but we just can't afford this on our own so we are asking YOU the community to help out and give a little or a lot, just whatever you can afford.

Reason for reopening the page 8 April 2016
We are a hard working couple with an 8 yr old son that recently adopted a rescue pup with a major disability requiring major surgery and loads of Aqua Therapy before and after the surgery plus reasonably expensive anti-inflammatory tablets until the surgery is done. We didn't know about this disability until after her adoption was processed. She has wormed her way into our hearts and home and she is such a sweet natured wee girl that deserves to live a happy pain free life. We were going to get a loan to pay for this but after finding out at the end of 2015 that my details had been used to commit a fraud my credit rating is now ruined, previous to this I had a glowing credit rating...we are currently taking steps to try to remedy this but it will take a long time and Ziva needs her operation sooner rather than later now. We are trying to save but Aqua therapy is $355 every 10 weeks and her medication is almost $100 per month so it is going to take quite a while to come up with the $3000 she needs for her operation. The $1000 already recieved has paid for her costs to date. We can now afford all her other costs except her surgery. Can you help please ?
