Help Zofia Wells and Charlotte Handley travel to compete at the Feva Worlds in Aix-les-Bains, France.

My name is Zofia, and my friend Charlotte and I have an awesome opportunity to attend the FEVA World championship in Aix les Bains, France! It's this huge international sailing competition, and we need your help to get there!
We're super excited to compete and show off all the hard work we've put into sailing, but we need to raise money for our flights. This is a dream for both of us, but we need your help to make it happen.
We would like to compete at the Feva worlds because it will give us exposure to large more competitive international fleets that we don't get in New Zealand
Competing at these world champs will be a great step on our journey to represent New Zealand at the youth worlds in the future.
We want to take responsibility for helping raise the money to get there.

Use of funds
Return flights to Europe for Charlotte and Zofia is the single largest expense, if we do not raise the whole goal, money will go towards our entry.

We would like to update you on our achievements at the RS Feva worlds in France. We had a great experience as we met many new people and got to race on a challenging and beautiful lake in Aix Les Bains.
During the qualifying series we sailed some of our best performances to date, and managed to win 4 out of the 5 races (with 168 teams competing), this had us leading the event going into the finals series.
In the finals we had light winds making getting racing away challenging, 4 races were completed, we won 1 of them. Finished 2nd overall and female world champions.
Going to the Feva worlds helped us get exposure to big fleets, and travelling to compete, which we can't get in New Zealand. This championship gave us sklills that will contribute to our future as we try to get selected to represent New Zealand at the youth world championships in the 420 class. Your support was key in helping us ensure that we were able to have this opportunity.
